Christopher’s Bio

Chris has a distinctive string-based style rooted in classical music, blended with the expressive depth of jazz and blues, and enriched by oriental ambient atmospheres. He plays viola, cello, and violin, shaping sound through both tradition and improvisation. His musical journey began in Iran, where he lived and learned classical music while absorbing oriental atmosphere and local traditional sounds. He later lived and performed in Turkey, collaborated with Russian pianists in Moscow, and continued his musical path in Italy and Austria. For the past two years, he has been based in Canada, experiencing diverse musical cultures and approaches firsthand. His goal is to continue exploring new collaborations, connect across cultures, and remain open to new adventures through music.
